1. Booking and Payment

Automated Payments (via PayMongo)

• Payment Processor: Venues with automated payments use PayMongo, a BSP-licensed payment facilitator, to process online payments securely
• Payment Methods: GCash, Maya, GrabPay, and QR Ph are available for instant checkout
• Instant Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed automatically as soon as payment is completed
• Platform Fee: A small platform service fee may apply to automated payment bookings. The fee is shown during checkout before you pay
• Payment Window: Complete payment within 30 minutes or your booking will be automatically cancelled

Manual Payments (Legacy)

• Payment Methods: Some venues may still accept GCash, Maya, and/or Bank Transfer via screenshot upload
• Payment Process: Transfer payment directly to the venue's account and upload payment proof within 30 minutes
• Venue Verification: Manual payments require venue owner verification before confirmation
• Booking Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed within 24 hours after venue owner verification
• Manual payments are being phased out in favor of automated payments for a faster, more reliable experience

2. Consumable Credits

• What it is: Some venues offer consumable credits that can be used for food, drinks, equipment rental, or other services
• How it works: Credits are calculated per booking hour (e.g., ₱50/hour for 2 hours = ₱100 total credit)
• Usage: Present your booking confirmation to the venue to claim your credit
• Restrictions: Credits can only be used at the booked venue during your booking time
• Non-refundable: Unused credits cannot be refunded or transferred
• Each venue specifies what their consumable credit can be used for (check venue page for details)

4. Venue Rules and Conduct

• Users must arrive on time for their booked slots
• Late arrivals may result in reduced playing time; no refunds will be issued
• Users must follow venue-specific rules and regulations
• Proper sports attire and equipment are required
• Venues reserve the right to refuse entry for improper conduct or attire
• Any damage to venue property will be charged to the person who made the booking

5. Platform Responsibility

• Courtogo acts as a booking platform connecting users with venue owners
• For automated payments, Courtogo uses PayMongo as a third-party payment processor. Customer payment credentials (e-wallet, bank details) are handled entirely by PayMongo and are not stored by Courtogo
• Courtogo collects payments on behalf of venue owners and disburses earnings through weekly payouts
• We are not responsible for the quality, maintenance, or safety of the venues
• Disputes regarding venue conditions should be addressed directly with the venue owner
• We ensure secure payment processing but are not liable for venue-related issues
• Customer support is available for booking-related concerns

6. Weather and Force Majeure

• Outdoor court bookings are subject to weather conditions
• In case of heavy rain or extreme weather, you may reschedule to another slot
• No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, government orders, etc.) may result in booking cancellations
• Courtogo reserves the right to modify booking terms during emergency situations

7. Account and Security

• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials
• Guest bookings (without account) are allowed but have limited features
• Users must provide accurate information when making bookings
• Fraudulent bookings will result in account suspension and legal action
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate our terms

8. Pricing and Fees

• All prices are in Philippine Pesos (PHP)
• Platform Service Fee: A platform service fee may apply to bookings processed through automated payments. The exact fee percentage is displayed at checkout
• Venue Owner Payouts: Venue owners receive weekly payouts every Monday for the previous week's confirmed bookings via GCash, Maya, or Bank Transfer
• Processing Fees: PayMongo processing fees for automated payments are absorbed by Courtogo and are not charged to customers or venue owners
• Venue owners receive 100% of their listed prices (the platform fee is charged to the customer, not deducted from the venue price)
• Prices may vary based on peak hours, weekends, and special events set by venue owners
• Consumable credits (if offered by venue) are included in the booking price at no extra cost
• Fee Changes: If the platform service fee percentage changes, customers and venue owners will be notified at least 30 days in advance
• Courtogo reserves the right to modify pricing structure with prior notice to users

Data Collection and Use

We collect and process personal information necessary for booking services, including:

• Name, email address, and phone number for booking confirmation
• Payment proof screenshots for manual payment verification (GCash, Maya, Bank Transfer)
• Booking history and preferences to improve your experience
• Venue owner payout details (account name, account number, bank name) for weekly payout disbursements

Third-Party Payment Processing

For venues using automated payments, customer payments are processed by PayMongo, a BSP-licensed payment facilitator. PayMongo's own privacy policy governs the handling of payment credentials (e-wallet accounts, bank details) submitted during checkout. Courtogo does not store customer payment credentials.

Data Protection

Your personal information is protected and will not be shared with third parties except:

• Venue owners (name, contact details, and payment proof for booking verification)
• PayMongo (payment transaction data for processing automated payments)
• When required by law or legal proceedings

Venue owner payout details are stored securely and used solely for disbursing weekly earnings.

Data Retention

Booking records, payment transaction data, and payout records are retained for accounting, compliance, and dispute resolution purposes in accordance with applicable Philippine laws.
